She never knew who she was. She never knew where she came from. Orphaned when she was two days old, raised in foster homes, she never had any sense of place in the world.
On the eve of her twenty-fifth birthday, Lily Williams (agron) finds herself running for her life. After running into a dead-end, she thinks ‘this is it, and I’ve never even seen the world.’ Two shots is what she hears. ‘Am I in shock?’ Opening her eyes, she finds her assailant, a man dressed in all back, flat on the ground in a pool of his own blood. At the other end of the alley, a woman lowers her smoking gun and beckons Lily into her car. With no real choice in the matter, Lily does as she’s told.
One night, and her world is changed. She would come to know the woman who saved her life as Eden (cotillard), part of an elite team simply known as “BULLET”. Espionage in reality, who knew that was for more than just the movies?
Lily had been watched over since she was born. Known as a “legacy”, part of the four-woman team was hers to inherit. The team in question: Jade (wilde); weapons specialist and Chase (kreuk); linguistics. Training is immediate, and intense - there’s no room for looking back. It seems like whenever she’s in private with one member of her team, they all have opposing viewpoints of what they’re after. So much for a “unified team”. The deeper Lily gets, the more questions she has.
Who were her parents? Why were they killed? Who was trying to kill her? And most importantly, who can she trust?
